Euclid Commits to 30% Carbon Reduction by 2030, Joins Power A Clean Future

(Columbus, OH)— On Monday, the Euclid City Council passed a resolution officially making the city a Power a Clean Future Ohio Community. The resolution also commits the city to reducing emissions by 30% by 2030 over 2010 levels. In passing the resolution, Euclid joins a small set of Ohio communities that have set measurable goals to take meaningful actions to address climate change. In passing the resolution, the city has committed to work with Power a Clean Future Ohio to develop a plan in 2021 to ensure they take the right steps to achieve the 30% carbon reduction goal by 2030.

We applaud the Euclid City Council and Mayor Gail for their leadership in recognizing the impact their city can have toward a clean energy future.
